This performance painting was created as a form of ritual during the Summer solstice 2021 in my studio space.
The performance together with the voice over was released as a mantra giving space to my own ancestral to manifest through the colour and movements of my body. The text in the video is a manifest towards mutual respect between social classes based on the current situation of my country of origin, Brazil.
This work also expresses the duality amongst the population whether you belong to a left or right-wing party and also the non-respectful behaviour between the government and society during a conservative government. I have released this text as an attempt to bring awareness to remain on your own energy field when it comes to conflict, anger, and pain.
